Son clubes históricos en la categoría, a tal punto que son los que más puntos han dumado en la tabla histórica del Torneo Argentino A que se creó en 1996. Villeros y albinegros ya han jugado 41 duelos a lo largo de la historia con supremacía de Cipo que ganó 17 partidos ante las 10 victorias del Verde.
En la Visera de Cemento jugaron 20 partidos con una victoria visitante, 13 triunfos de Cipo y 6 empates.
El 8/11/03 se enfrentaron en cuartos de final y luego de ganarse mutuamente por un gol de ventaja de local fueron a la definición por penales y el albinegro se impuso 5 a 3.
La mayor goleada fue el 6 a 0 del 02/11/08 con dobletes Padua, Prieto y Weisser.
